The ETA™ framework wasn't borrowed from a textbook. It was built from lived experience, then refined through real sessions with real young people until it worked in practice, not just on paper.
Our founder, Jessica Villegas, knows adversity from the inside. She moved 27 times before finishing high school. No mentor. No roadmap. Not one adult who showed her what was possible. So she built her own systems, earned her degree from UCF, and spent 20 years in corporate leadership building training programs, developing teams, and managing talent, before bringing everything she had learned to the young people who needed it most.
Today she leads a six-figure coaching practice in Central Florida and has worked directly with more than 3,000 teens and young adults across classrooms, boardrooms, and communities.
She doesn't teach youth coaching from a distance. She teaches it from the inside. When you certify with Hi-Lite, that is exactly what you are trained in: a proven, field-tested framework, delivered by the person who built it.

Becoming a coach for Hi-Lite has changed my life and the lives of so many others. It's one of the best things I've ever done.

I love the focus on teens and young adults. It's such a transformative part of your life that is so difficult, so to be that support for someone else is so meaningful.

Hi-Lite Youth Coach Certification
Payment plans available. Application and background check required.
Step 1:
Express interest and connect with our leadership team.
Step 2:
Accept your invite to join by completing your in-depth application and submitting a short video telling us why this work matters to you. This is the vetting process that protects every coach and every teen in this program.
Step 3:
If accepted, you'll receive your enrollment offer to lock in your spot in the next cohort.
We are not like other youth coaching certification programs. We are real, relatable, value-driven impact makers who offer training, a caring community and the business support you need to sustain.
The next cohort starts September 15, 2026. The application window closes August 31, 2026. Your spot is secured when your application is accepted and your first payment is processed. Do not wait - once the cohort fills, the next opening is 90+ days out.
Plan for four to six hours per week. This includes self-paced modules, weekly assignments, and one live group coaching call. Calls are recorded if you can't attend live, but we strongly encourage it — the peer discussion and real-time practice are a significant part of what makes this work.
Yes. Payment plan details are provided during the acceptance process. Your spot is not secured until your first payment is processed.
Coaches who build their practice consistently generate between $2,000 and $8,000 per month within their first year through private clients, school and nonprofit contracts, group programs, and workshops. Your $3,200 investment is recovered with two to three clients. Everything after that is return.
Yes. All modules are self-paced and accessible from any device. Live group calls are held via video conference. No in-person requirements.
Most certifications were built for adults and retrofitted for teens. Hi-Lite was built from the ground up for the complexity of coaching adolescents. We also background check and socially vet every applicant, cap cohorts at 20, require live coaching call attendance, and provide done-for-you marketing assets and ongoing bi-weekly support to help you build a practice for your first year — this is not just a certificate, it's an ecosystem of success. No one else offers this in the industry.
